What is Academic Membership?
Academic Membership is open to university faculty, researchers, graduate students, and undergraduate students engaged in research or education related to e-commerce and adjacent fields. We welcome those who wish to contribute to the advancement of EC research in Japan by participating in JASEC's academic activities — presenting research, submitting papers, and building researcher networks.

Membership Categories & Annual Fee

Annual billing: auto-charged each year via PayPal starting from the month of registration.
Eligibility
- Those engaged in research or education in e-commerce, ICT, marketing, business administration, consumer behavior, data science, or related fields
- Graduate and undergraduate students in the above fields (a recommendation from a supervising faculty member is preferred)
- Those who support the mission of JASEC (advancing EC through industry-academia collaboration)
